Peanut Butter Fingers

So my family is a huge fan of peanut butter. And when you combine it with chocolate, that’s always a winning combination, am I right?

So here we go!

What You Need and What To Do:

Cream together:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 egg

Then add:

  • 1 cup instant oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a greased 13 x 9 baking dish, spread your dough evenly. Bake it for 20 minutes or until it’s golden brown along the edge.

Remove immediately from the oven and top it with a 14 oz. bag of chocolate chips. Let those babies melt on top and spread them out evenly. Be gentle though, your bars are still hot from the oven and are soft so just gently spread! The chocolate will melt as you go! Then refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.

After the chocolate has hardened, mix together and top it with:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoon milk

Spread that topping out evenly and refrigerate again for at least an hour! (If you can wait that long!) Slice it into bars and ENJOY!

Oh man, oh man…. I hope you love this treat as much as my family. It will definitely become one of your favorites!

Much love, signature
